Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16, 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's most successful and well-known comedians. She was on QI, as well as Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March, 1984) is a comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea began her stand-up comedy career in 2011, after appearing in small parts on several Irish TV shows as well as British series since 2009. From 2012 on, Bea was appearing in sitcoms and sketch comedy. Following her win at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel shows. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team between 2016 and 2017 and is regularly a contestant on the spinoff show, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She is the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her younger sister, was born. In 2012, she was awarded the So You Believe You're Funny Award twice. Bea was awarded the award in memory of her father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian was a vet for horses who committed suicide aged three. She didn't discover the reason of death until thirteen years later. To honor her dad, she took the stage name Bea and, in the year 2017, she wrote an article on suicides and deaths that affected her family members for The Guardian. Bea's mother Helen She is an instructor for jockeys and a former professional jockey, was the one responsible for taking care of her as well as Sinead. Their family was passionate about horses and races. Bea was a guide at the Irish National Stud in her early days. But she was aware that it wasn't what she wanted to pursue for a living and that she was more interested in to perform.
